I am excited to have the opportunity to provide my services to ramp-up the WordPress site of the Throckmorton Theatre in my very own town of Mill Valley, California. The Throckmorton Theatre is a nonprofit, multi-disciplinary creative arts organization, featuring live music, theatrical performance, comedy, art exhibits, and a dash of political satire from the legendary Mort Sahl.

With a strong history of supporting local comedy, the Throckmorton has been home to some of the great comedians of our times. Dana Carvey and the late Robin Williams, both Marin locals, often took the stage to try out new material before going on tour and appearing on late night talk shows.
Having no problem marketing to their local audiences in their own town of Mill Valley, The Throckmorton Theatre has a large market of potential audience just across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. There are millions of people in the city and hundreds of daily events that the Throckmorton has to compete with, making it very important to address the SEO needs of the site with care.
My assignment was to help the Throckmorton in two key areas. One, provide the team there a way to better manage and maintain their website and two, optimizing their content for an improved user experience with more visibility on search engines in order to attract more audiences to their amazing event offerings.
The original address of 142 Throckmorton started off as The Hub Theatre in the early 1900. It was the main source of entertainment for the people in Mill Valley at the time.
