In collaboration with strategic partner, Dan McNulty of MC Brand Studios, I welcome new client Michael Horowitz from Wheel Concepts of Camarillo, CA to the studios of IAMTEEJAY. Wheel Concepts has been the industry leader in decorative chrome plating for the automotive and aftermarket wheel industries. Since 1977, they've been providing both chrome-plated and OEM alloy wheels and wheel accessories across the US and internationally. One of the keys to their success is having their inventory readily searchable in their vast factory OEM Core Bank consisting of thousands of wheels. Unfortunately, their current website on the WordPress platform with its WooCommerce plugin has become defunct and inoperable.  They have requested a better solution for their online sales and marketing needs.

The Joy of Doing Business with a Motivational Speaker

Dave came to me after seeing Linda Larsen’s website and success. Doing business with Dave has been a blessing, as I have the opportunity to provide my services to yet another motivational speaker. Dave had an existing Wordpress site that was not working for him, and was not representing his “Joy Strategy” message he was trying to deliver to his customers. Thanks to Dave’s references to Stephen Colbert: The Late Show, I was able to design him a site that adds color and life to his marketing strategy. Our redesign included a revised “Speaking of Joy” brand which set the tone for the rest of the sites typographical schema and layout. Today, I launched a fully responsive website for Dave Caperton on the Business Catalyst platform. The platform offers a robust set of tools that enable its customer to not only effectively market their business, but also maintain their site on their own. With Dave delivering his message and words of wisdom on how to live life with joy, he will be utilizing the Blog and Email Campaign services of the platform on a regular basis.

Set Stylist Continues to Market Using Business Catalyst’s Email Campaign Module in 2016

Last year Kristine Nex came to me with a mailing list of over 5,000 subscribers and needed a service to deliver her “shout-out” to her database of subscribers to promote her business in the new year. One problem though, her website service didn’t have an effective email campaign delivery system. With her husband, Anthony Nex having his Helms Daylight Studio site on the Business Catalyst platform that come with one, but not being used, we essential borrowed the service for her marketing needs. After creating an email template that matches Kristine’s brand at her site, we masked her deliveries as though it was coming from her site. Not only is the Helms Daylight Studio website managing the subscriber and email campaign database, it is also receiving all off of the traffic coming through site from Kristine’s marketing efforts. I consider this a double marketing whammy, with traffic for both businesses, and all for one low subscription price. Though Kristine’s subscription count has now surpassed the default 5,000 free-subscription deliveries per month, Business Catalyst does offers a 10,000 count bump at a very affordable $5 per month, as needed. With 2016 in front of us, so is the list of emails set to be delivered automatically on their specified dates, while the system manages the subscriber list hands-free.

Getting it Right in 2016!

Regina Clark came to me back in 2013 to have a website developed for her high-energy speaking, just as I was mastering my abilities to develop fully responsive websites. Implementing a mobile redirect to a mobile-friendly portion of her website, I was able to provide Regina with an effective website to help her with the marketing of her business. However, Regina has returned to me after taking a 1-year hiatus from her business, with a new company and brand identity. Having already served her recently, I offered a lower rate to revamp the design of the site and make it fully responsive this time around. Her site is on the Business Catalyst platform, utilizing its CMS , Blog and Email Marketing services. So, not only will she enhance her brand and expand her services, I will get to develop her site to meet today’s technological needs to effectively market itself on the Internet.

Local Marin, Private Chef Seeks More Visibility Online

Peter Asmus came to me to see if I can help improve visibility of his partner’s site, KT's Kitchen, a private chef catering Marin County out of Stinson Beach. KT’s site was using a single-page template and needed additional help to expand its SEO-abilities within its limited resources. First by establishing what is important to the business and who her target audience was, we established a set of keywords and then applied them to all the page URLs, meta page titles and descriptions, headings, link and image meta data, IDs and names. I then recreated a sitemap.xml, and set up accounts for us to track the effectiveness of our efforts at Google Analytics, Bing and Google Webmaster Tools, and provided a base traffic report. In 30-days I will produce a complimentary report, comparing traffic from the base report and suggesting efforts to improve the site’s marketing efforts.
