THE SPARK

The year I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities with a focus on getting into graduate school to continue my education and become an architect.

My brother Glen Alexander Joel and his friend Chris Wood formed a band, Paninari, in high school. Self-recorded, self-produced, and self-marketed, they got radio play, interviews, live shows, and a fan base.

I was so jealous of his art success that I felt I needed to contribute. I applied what I learned in my design class and produced artwork to make his band a T-shirt.  This would be the very first design I made for someone else. 

This would be the start of what is to become.
