Adventure with Jonny

In 2018 Jonny (Jonathan) was a high school senior, a good student and athlete, nominated for prom king, and looking forward to starting college with a swim scholarship and dreams of a career in engineering.

One beautiful sunny day in February he was a passenger in a car coming back from a friend’s house when they were in a terrible car accident. Jonathan suffered a very severe traumatic brain injury with multiple brain bleeds in several areas. We were not sure if he would make it through the night. Thankfully, he did and after many months of hospitalization with intensive therapy, Jonathan improved. However, this injury impacted every area of Jonathan's life and his being. He has had to learn to grieve and say goodbye to his old life and to accept this new life. It is a long hard road as we learn to blend hope for continued recovery with acceptance of the “new normal”. We have learned and continue to learn much on this journey.

As it is said, “Life is a journey, not a destination” (Ralph Waldo Emerson). We are here to encourage one another as we share our adventures in this journey of life. Our hope is that in the sharing of our adventures, we will contribute in a positive way to yours! Welcome, we invite you to join us.

NOTES

Michelle needed blogging site to journal her adventures with her son Jonny. After the content was submitted, it was a quick build and was launch in three days.

We also provided training to help Michelle become familiar with the Wix blogging engine.

"Teejay did an amazing job on our website. He understood just what we we looking to create and had it completed in no time. He collaborated well, answered my questions and made the changes I wanted without any difficulty. Everything went very smooth. I would highly recommend."
