Gertmenian

Adrienne Alitowski referred her husband, Gary Marion, Vice President of Operation of Gertmenian to us to help them with their to have their corporate website redesigned.

They became the longest-running business and oldest company our books to date.

Gertmenian was established in the United States in 1896.  It has been continuously owned by one family since and is currently directed by the great-grandson of the founder.

The mission, since our company was founded over 125 years ago, is to create “rugs for the way you live”.  They look at color trends, and new weaving techniques, and always select the highest quality materials as appropriate for each collection.  They want their products to be admired, easy to live with, and most of all enjoyed for many years to come.

Since all the rugs are currently being sold through their retail partners around the country and sold internationally, their site was only to act as the face of the company’s online presence.

We are currently developing a portal for customers who have purchased their product, providing them with resources to unpack and care for their new rug. This should increase traffic to the site with return visits and add value to their product through this enhanced customer support.
