Thomas "Teejay"

A designer at heart, with a mind that yearns to understand how and why things come to exist and the sense to preserve and allow for growth and prosperity. Before something can be created for the first time or recreated again, we must have a general, if not a complete, understanding of its form and functionality. Whether dissecting a layout for an ad or pulling apart and reassembling a 22-gear tractor transmission, his enthusiasm to learn will never wane.

Using these assessment skills he has developed over the years, his approach to a new project is dissecting it first. He asks himself the questions of the whats, whys, and wheres, and by the time he “puts pen to paper,” he has a complete understanding of my responsibilities, tasks, and objectives.

As a team member, he finds value and purpose while working alongside his colleagues and clients. Visualizing a completed project from start to finish motivates him to focus on my responsibilities and assist others. This way, everyone involved can drive the project home as a team.

As a project manager, he believes in creating an environment that promotes open, informative, and concise two-way communication between everyone involved. Implementing tools for continued education, motivation, micro goal-setting techniques, and continuous support and encouragement are all measures of good project management.

Whether one creates a piece of art for their pleasure or participates in a team effort to create a business enterprise for millions to use, the processes they employ to start and complete the task are the same, through recognition of form, understanding of the functionality, and desire to enjoy and or utilize the results of the effort.
